Decision-making training in sporting officials: Past, present and future

چکیده
Decision-making has commonly been cited as the most important skill for successful performance in sports officials, however insight into how this critical is improved through off-field training lagged. The overall aim of paper to provide a narrative review concerning evolution decision-making approaches interactor sporting officials (i.e., those with high movement and perceptual demands). This will reconcile these past forms theories concepts discussed officiating literature, subsequent recommendations future investigations. Narrative review. 10 peer-reviewed studies on development were comprehensively scrutinized. found use diverse methodological theoretical perspectives. There are several limitations literature such limited representativeness training, leading more decontextualized approach. Future should consider stronger by including competition constraints decision-making, contextual factors. Reflective individualized may be an appropriate methodology train adequacy, rather than accuracy.
